So today was a very long work day for me. I worked 12 1/2 hours! We had our annual membership meeting tonight. I stuffed bags, greeted members and gave out the prizes. Who would have thought I would be the winner of one of the cash prizes??? I didn't want to go, but boy am I glad I did now. Maybe I'll finally get blinds for the dining room...

Day 14
So, I had a dinner party tonight with Zack and Jessica. I totally forgot to take pictures, but we ate parmesan ranch chicken, mashed potatoes and steamed green beans w/ a garlic butter sauce. Yum-o. However, I tend to get wrapped up in the preparation and the hosting and forget to take pictures. The only picture I have is from what we did afterwards, which is watch a lot of You Tube. Our favorite from the night is the kid at the dentist. If you get a chance you should watch it. Its hilarious!
Sorry for the lame picture post for today, but i'll try to do better!

Day 13
Well, if there wasn't enough 50th birthday humiliation for Stacy at EAD, we made up for it at work! My boss got her at wheelchair from downstairs, then we got my blanket and found her a drool cloth... She was not overly happy with us.
hehehe... HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACY!

Day 12
YAY for posting early today!!! It was Employee Appreciation Day at the credit union. They rented out the arena at the VBC and no lie- we played inflatable games all morning!
My boss- Karen- challenged me to a game of jousting- which is the picture you see below. And just in case you were wondering- I won! :)

Day 11
This was a different Sunday night for me. Most of the "friends" crew were off skiing. So, Jose and I joined Adam and Zack B at Zaxby's. This photo is what happens when everyone brings a pile of napkins. I actually now have quite a stack in my purse. It got really funny, but it was probably more of a you had to be there moment.

Day 10...
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! <3
I am well aware I have not posted any pictures since Wednesday. I won't even try to make an excuse because I don't have any. However, I had 2 events today and I have pics for that, so it will just have to make up for it.
First up for Valentines Day was Preston and Vicki's wedding at the Museum of Art. It was a small wedding, but lots of fun thanks to Preston's personality. :) My job was to watch Emmy since Matt and Tonya were both in the wedding.
So here is me and Emmy at the wedding...
and our brother/sister picture... Preston, me and Matt (some things never change)
and here is me with their wives Vicki and Tonya
After the wedding it was time to go to Ladies Knights at Whitesburg. The boys did an excellent job at serving us. We watched Fireproof and basically didn't have to do a thing. It was an amazing night and lots of fun.
More pictures will be posted on Facebook!

Day 9
For some odd reason, I have found a love for the purple and green combination. So, the last couple of nights, I have been doing some painting. I took a metal Easter bucket that I had gotten on Clearance at Hallmark for .90 and painted it with purple acrylic paint and used some of my scrapbooking letters and made myself a "Scrap Scraps" bucket to put my extra little scraps of paper in. I also bought a framing tape gun recently for my scrapbooking. I didn't like the red and clear look so I painted it purple and green then decided I wanted some white polka dots on it. Eventually, I intend on putting my monogram on it- just haven't gotten there yet. I cant wait to put them in my scrapbooking room. :)

Day 8
So, when I got to work today, this is what I found on my computer:
I knew Lisa was the one behind this. I seriously laughed out loud when I read it. I'm still laughing when I turn my head and find this:
The caption in the corner says "This must be how its done". And that, friends, is how we break up monotonous work days at Redstone Federal Credit Union... :)

Day 6
I was trying to get ahead of the game today and get my Sunday cookies made. I make cookies every week for our "Friends" night. Roxanne got me this amazing cookie book for Christmas and so now its a cookie a week as well. This week I used a chocolate chunk cookie recipe and added to it. I made it the regular way then I took half of the dough and added some cocoa to it to make a double chocolate kind. I also used semi sweet chocolate chunks, milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. The dough tasted pretty yummy.... The jury will have to declare the verdict...
Days 4
I couldn't get Matt's computer to read my camera card so days 4-6 are all dated the same even though they weren't all taken the same day.
This picture was shortly after Matt and Tonya left for Gatlinburg (Day 4). She loves "gasses". I let her use the cheap pair. I just thought she looked so cute!
I caught Emmy in my shoes. Every time I turned my head, she had put them on. She'd look at me and laugh. She had her shoes on too.Wednesday, February 4, 2009
Day 3...
I know, I know... I missed the "real" day 3, but have you read my other blog- Better Late than Never- thats my life. :) Well... I am packed and ready to go stay with Emmy. She's 16 months old now and absolutely adorable. I'm sure my posts for the next few days will include her.
I get to spend the next couple of nights with her while everyone is gone on the FBC Couples Retreat. Aunt Dez has lots of fun stuff planned.

Day 2
I had a doctors appointment today in Meridianville. I always stop by my parents house to see mom and "the kid" (Dakota) afterwards. I was pretty disappointed that my little "boyfriend" was asleep on the couch. He looked so darn cute, I had to take a picture. I love this kid and hope one day I have one just like him. :)

Day 1
I decided to give Project 365 a shot and take a picture of significant things each day. The picture for today is not really significant, however it does show what we girls do during a superbowl party. Granted, its not the best picture ever taken, nor do I really care to share the story behind it, but thanks Kim Wilson for giving us the picture for today...
