Room Complete!

I finally completed the bulk of my bedroom. I still have a few little things to do in there, but it was done enough that I could post pictures.

This is the morning we were packing up to head back to our own houses. Never a dull moment with this group.

This is my first major couponing attempt at kroger...

I stopped by mom and dad's a couple times this month and Dakota was there. He wanted to show me his "koala" pose. I of course had to take a picture.

I'm going to try to do better this month... It's been a wild few weeks...

Scrapbooking Challenge

Here is this month's scrapping challenge- Spring Cleaning- I used paper I forgot I had... ribbon from deep in the ribbon jar... and my sizzix die cutting machine (which I haven't used in 3 years)...

Day 17

It's March and we got a big surprise in Huntsville. SNOW! We got quite a bit, however it all melted by noon. The funny thing was it was in the mid 60's two days prior. Alabama has the strangest weather. It was pretty, but I've had my good snowfall, I'm ready for warm temps!

Day 16

So much for getting my act together... However, my other blog is titled "Better Late than Never" so I'll just go along with that. :)

I made a Candyland themed cake for Roxanne's Birthday. We had themed the night "Vintage Game Night" and played game. You can't get any more vintage then Candyland! I have found ways to improve it, but for a first attempt, I didn't find it too shabby! :)

Day 15

So today was a very long work day for me. I worked 12 1/2 hours! We had our annual membership meeting tonight. I stuffed bags, greeted members and gave out the prizes. Who would have thought I would be the winner of one of the cash prizes??? I didn't want to go, but boy am I glad I did now. Maybe I'll finally get blinds for the dining room...
